Addison Ard’s two-run double triggered a four-run first inning and Lubbock Christian University went on to beat Regis 7-5 Sunday in softball and finish 5-0 in the season-opening Visit Lubbock College Classic at PlainsCapital Park. Earlier Sunday, Sydney Beuthien and Addie Vayas hit two-run singles in a 13-run second inning and LCU run-ruled Northwestern Oklahoma State 14-4.
