More than $170,000 has been raised as a reward to solicit information that assists in the safe return of Mollie Tibbetts, who has been missing for more than two weeks. During a news conference Thursday, Tibbetts' mother, Laura Calderwood of Brooklyn, said her family believes Mollie is alive.

The twins from Cedar Falls also learned how to speak eloquently about their cystic fibrosis, and just came back from speaking to their United States senators and congressmen about it in Washington, D.C. "We basically told them the University of Iowa Hospital is important to us, 'cause they saved our lives multiple times," said Maren Denison.
