Bangladesh allrounder Shakib Al Hasan defied the pain in his ankle from a wild Tim Southee throw to reclaim the advantage for the tourists on day two of the first cricket test. A poor act from senior New Zealand paceman Southee, when he fired a throw back at Shakib and hit him a nasty blow on the left ankle, marred the first session as Bangladesh once again showed fight with the bat.
