Somerset bowler Josh Davey missed out on taking home a winners medal from the inaugural Desert T20 challenge after seeing his Scotland side defeated by Ireland in Friday’s semi-final. Having starred in the win over the Netherlands earlier in the week , Davey was in fine form going into the match but ended up seeing ex-Somerset duo George Dockrell and Kevin O’Brien progress to the final in Dubai.
