The Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial and World War II Memorial were defaced by what authorities believe was a single vandal over Presidents Day weekend in Washington, D.C. Officials with the U.S. Park Police and National Park Service said that they believe a lone individual committed the criminal act late Saturday night with a permanent marker. Photo display of mayors reveals surprise find to community

A new display featuring photos of former mayors from Ohio's fourth-largest city turned up a discovery: A photo thought to be of Toledo's first mayor is actually a photo of his son. The mistake was discovered a few years ago by family members of the first mayor and local historians but wasn't widely known until now, The Blade reported.
