David Modell, former Ravens president, dies at 56
David Modell, a former president of the Baltimore Ravens and the son of former team owner Art Modell, died of lung cancer Friday, the team announced. He was 56. Called the “unsung son,” Modell was considered an architect of the Ravens team that won Super Bowl XXXV in 2001.
