Bronx Rep. Engel to Skip Aisle Handshake with Trump at Joint Session Address

New York Rep. Eliot Engel is breaking with a longstanding tradition in Washington tonight, saying he will not be shaking President Donald Trump’s hand when he enters to address a joint session of Congress. Engel, who represents parts of the Bronx and Westchester County, said today on the floor of the House he will be putting an end to the tradition tonight as a form of protest against the Trump adminstration.
