Potential Republican candidates for governor in 2018 are making overtures to state conservatives as they continue to mull their political futures on the statewide stage. Business restructuring expert Harry Wilson, a former candidate for state comptroller, addressed Conservative Party members at the party’s Political Action Conference in Colonie on Sunday, and Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino, the GOP’s 2014 gubernatorial candidate, and Dutchess County Executive Marc Molinaro spoke Monday morning.

Wegmans eyes store between Albany and NYC

But Capital Region residents who crave the staple of western New York grocery shopping shouldn’t get their hopes up about the arrival of a closer store.
