Lowey , Ranking Member of the House Appropriations Committee, Monday hosted a roundtable discussion with local Jewish leaders at the Jewish Community Center on the Hudson in Tarrytown to discuss the wave of 120 bomb threats made against JCCs and Jewish schools across the country.

Westchester Man Last Seen In Mid-February Remains Missing

New York State Police are seeking the community’s assistance as they search for a schizophrenic man that went missing in Westchester County last month and may require medical attention. On Monday, state police issued a “missing person” alert for 52-year-old Joseph A. Bodai, who was reported missing from Larchmont on Feb. 17. He was last seen wearing a puffy jacket, green shirt and blue jeans with black and red sneakers.

Rye Figure Skating Club Celebrates 80th Anniversary With Free Show

The Rye Figure Skating Club, founded in 1937, is celebrating its 80th anniversary by hosting a free ice skating show at Rye’s historic Playland Ice Casino on Saturday, March 11 at 8 p.m. The one-hour Rye FSC 80th Anniversary Celebration on Ice will feature over 70 performers – the majority of whom reside in Westchester County – including award- winning members and alumni of Rye Figure Skating Club. Different disciplines of ice skating will be showcased such as freestyle, pairs, ice theater, ice dance and synchronized ice skating.
