The Northern Griots Network , in association with Poetry in Motion, has announced Canadian poet, John Akpata, as a featured performer at this month’s staging. Akpata, who is of Nigerian and Guyanese heritage, is an exceptionally talented performer and spoken word poet based out of Ottawa, Canada.
