PVRIS, Cousin Stizz, Meghan Trainor win big at Boston Music Awards

Topping off a year that saw their late-night TV debut , their first headlining tour, and a slot at Chicago’s Lollapalooza music festival, Lowell-bred electro-rockers PVRIS took home both Artist of the Year and Song of the Year at Thursday night’s Boston Music Awards ceremony at the House of Blues. The show, held annually since 1987 to honor the city’s sundry sonic progeny, featured performances by the Ballroom Thieves and Julia Rhodes .
