Representatives Jeff Duncan and John Carter introduced legislation on January 9 that will eliminate the paper trail and federal tax on firearm suppressors. Suppressors are currently regulated under the National Firearms Act and thereby require law-abiding purchasers to go through the burdensome process of being photographed and fingerprinted.
