Celebrations will be beginning on the evening of January 27 and will continue until February 2. There are the usual spectacular celebrations in the West End, but there are also many other opportunities to bring in the new year with art, craft, music and booze. Journey along the 75-minute long Lantern Trail and explore over 50 illuminated illustrations, an ice rink, fairground and Chinese bamboo lantern riddles at the Magic Lantern Festival.
