The chief minister, according to sources, took serious exception to it and asked party leaders to spread the message that these sorts of cases of medical negligence would now be handled by the administration and herself. This was today announced by party secretary general and state minister for education Partha Chatterjee after a meeting of the TMC core committee chaired by party chief Mamata Banerjee at her residence at Kalighat.
