Review: ‘Score’ a joyous look at film music

It becomes apparent rather quickly while watching ” Score: A Film Music Documentary ” that many of the composers who make the music that make movies more memorable bring Beethoven-level talent to the table, but the movies they score are often not worthy of such artistic depth. Yes, I’m talking about “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” the fourth or fifth installment of Michael Bay’s noisy robots-from-space series and pretty much any Tom Cruise action vehicle of late.
