Big Ang’s cousin arrested for alleged sales tax fraud

Big Ang’s cousin, SallyAnn Lombardi, is accused of not paying sales taxes for the bar that she owned with the former “Mob Wives” star. Lombardi, 57, was arrested at about 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at 130 Stuyvesant Place and charged by police with grand larceny and criminal tax fraud, according to a spokeswoman for the NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Public Information.

Katie Couric to return to “Today” to fill in as host

Two of Matt Lauer’s former “Today” show co-hosts — Katie Couric and Meredith Vieira — are returning to the show for a week each in January with Savannah Guthrie on maternity leave. Couric, who was “Today” host from 1989 to 2006, has returned for special occasions but this will be the first time in the anchor’s role.
