Two suspected LeT ultras among three killed in Kashmir gunfight

Srinagar, March 9 – Two suspected Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists and a civilian were killed on Thursday in a gunfight between militants and security forces in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district. The Central Reserve Police Force , who conducted the operation along with police, said the gunfight started around 4 a.m. in Padgampora village following a tip-off.

Between 5pm and 8pm officers carrying out anniversary checks in the Ancaster Road area of Ipswich handed out appeal leaflets relating to the attack on Dean Stansby. Mr Stansby, aged 41 and of Trimley St Mary, died of a stab wound to the abdomen in Ipswich Hospital, where he had been taken after the incident on February 8.
