A Deputy Communications Director of the National Democratic Congress , Kwaku Boahen has slammed the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for superitending over lawlessness. He blamed what he described as the acts of lawlessness happening under the watch of the President, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Ghanaians who wasted their votes during the 2016 General Elections.

The National Service Personnel Association of the Greater Accra Region has given government seven days to pay the new, approved allowance or face their wrath. Speaking at a press conference in Accra, the President of NASPA Greater Accra, Kwadwo Danquah, said the current government acted in bad faith after agreeing to the increment.

Bribery scandal: Ayariga would soon cry – Charles Owusu

B/A: 7 graves looted, bones and ornaments stolen

Residents of Miremano in the Jaman South District of the Brong Ahafo Region, have been thrown into a state of utter shock after they realized that 7 graves at the town’s cemetary have been exhumed by certain unscrupolous. What surpised them more was the fact that bones of the coprse and ornaments with which the corpse were buried were also taken away by the unknown criminals.

Fake pastor jailed six months

A fake pastor Akwesi Amoah, who hired musical instruments from one Dr Brenya to be used for church programmes but later sold them in the Central Region, has been sentenced to six months’ imprisonment with hard labour. Delivering the judgment, Fred Obikyere of the Sunyani Magistrate Court B, said Akwesi Amoah must serve six months in prison with hard labour and come back to pay GHA 5,000 to cover the cost of the items.

Gbese Mantse never goofed; NDC was victorious – Gbese youth

The Gbese Youth in Greater Accra have stated that there is no basis for calls on the Gbese Mantse to step down since the National Democratic Congress won in the jurisdiction of the chief. The Gbese Mantse, Nii Ayi Bonte II, had said at a public gathering before the December 7 polls that he would step down if the John Mahama-led National Democratic Congress party lost the general elections.
