House lawmaker introduces bill calling for relisting N. Korea as terror sponsor
A US House lawmaker has introduced a bill calling for relisting North Korea as a state sponsor of terrorism. Rep. Ted Poe brought in the legislation that requires “a report on the designation of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea as a state sponsor of terrorism.”
China and Russia promise ‘countermeasures’ against a US-Korean missile defense system
China and Russia have expressed concern about a US plan to deploy an antimissile system in South Korea and vowed to take unspecified “countermeasures,” state media reported.
