Chennai, Dec 20 : A CBI court here on Tuesday convicted a Branch Manager of the Central Bank of India and four others, who will undergo rigorous imprisonment, the Central Bureau of Investigation said. [NK Tamil Nadu] In a statement, the CBI said R. Krishnadoss, Branch Manager of the Central Bank of India, was sentenced to five years of rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 50 lakh for sanctioning loans based on fake property documents to Mars Communications.
