Crews from Ely and Cambridge were called out to save a dog and its owner after they became stuck in a sluice gate in Lark Bank, near Prickwillow. A specialist team of firefighters arrived at the scene at 5.55pm last night , where crews trained in water and animal rescues wore dry suits to enter the water which had collected in the drainage system.
