Imphal, Jan. 1: In an attempt to reopen routes, the Okram Ibobi Singh government has deployed central forces along the state’s supply lines to provide security to supply trucks. The supply of essential commodities has been disrupted for two months after the United Naga Council imposed an indefinite economic blockade along National Highway 2 and National Highway 37 against the bifurcation of Naga-inhabited areas during the creation of new districts.
