That’s the view expressed by former finance minister under the People’s National Movement government Mariano Browne, when asked yesterday for comment on Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley’s address to the nation on Wednesday night. Browne said Rowley has tried but not succeeded in justifying the Government’s wage increase agreement – a compromise which on Monday put the brakes on the union’s threatened shutdown of State-owned Petrotrin.
