Bradford Bulls lose opening friendly but fans pleased just to see team take to field again

The former World Club and Super League champions had gone into administration for the third time in five years and ceased trading at the start of the month. Just days after New Zealanders Graham Lowe and Andrew Chalmers had been unveiled as the club’s new owners and Australian Geoff Toovey installed as coach, the team was back out on the field today playing West Yorkshire neighbours Huddersfield Giants in a testimonial for former England hooker Luke Robinson at the John Smith’s Stadium.
