A MUSEUM which was saved from closure in 2000 will host a special lunch event to celebrate 80 years of Art Fund support. The Bowes Museum, in Barnard Castle , which is set to celebrate its 125th anniversary this year, will host a celebration led by Chris Smith who helped secure its future as Secretary of State for Culture.
