‘Boy angel’ who assisted Chapecoense rescuers given new house

Local authorities have got together to reward 15-year-old Johan Ramirez for his courage by building him and his family a new home in La Union A 15-year-old dubbed Chapecoense’s ‘boy angel’ has been given a new house for his heroics in assisting the rescue efforts following the Brazilian team’s plane crash. Johan Ramirez and his family live nearby the crash site and he and his father were among the first people to arrive at the scene of the accident and discover the aircraft.
