Council tax payers to face further hikes as Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service proposes rise

COUNCIL tax payers could continue to face hikes in their bills as Staffordshire Fire bosses look to save A 4.8m in the next three years. Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Authority is set to agree at a meeting on Wednesday to raise its council tax precept by 1.75 per cent from April.
