Police in the eastern Chinese province of Zhejiang issued only a verbal warning to a driver who stopped suddenly on an elevated road because he claimed he was afraid of heights. Traffic police saw on surveillance video on Tuesday that a car with a Jiangsu province licence plate had stopped on the road shoulder, the Qianjiang Evening News reports.
