Guwahati, March 11: AGP, an ally of the BJP-led government in Assam, will stage demonstrations across the state on March 16 demanding a rollback of the Citizenship Bill, 2016, of the Centre that seeks to offer citizenship to Hindu migrants from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan. Nagaland governor P.B. Acharya has fixed March 21 for holding the election of the Speaker by members of the legislative Assembly, adds our Kohima correspondent.
