Dhemaji, March 11: Fear of food scarcity loomed over Silapathar as the town remained closed for the fifth day today and curfew continued for the second day. The Opposition Congress blamed the BJP-led state government for allegedly failing to control the situation following Monday’s violence while the clamour for immediate arrest of Subodh Biswas, national president of Nikhil Bharat Bangali Udbastu Samannay Samitee , intensified.
